IO SONO MURPLE (1974)

"Io sono Murple”  is a concept album telling the tale of a penguin that leaves his home in Antarctica and encounters the Evil Man. The twelve tracks of this album are interconnected to produce two side-long epics. Sections range from aggressive prog workouts consisting of heavy guitar, Hammond organ and pounding bass, to soft/melodic interludes, to early techno-sounding experiments.

QUADRI DI UN' ESPOSIZIONE (2008)

In the new work the Murple have composed the original music directly inspired by the paintings of Victor Hartmann that gave inspiration to the famous work  “Pictures at an Exhibition”   by  Mussorgsky , previously proposed in the 70s by Emerson Lake & Palmer.
